Totally recommend this place and can't wait to come back. Thank you everyone for a truly memorable stay for our 1st visit to Koh Samui. The location was brilliant, at a short distance from Chaweng walking street. Bars and restaurants were also close to the hotel. The room was impressive and soothing, the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

This hotel is located fantastically and is over a very large area compared to other hotels in the area, so it has great potential. The beach next to the hotel is very good and the hotels connection with the beach and beach facilities are also great.
They should have some attendants at the beach, breakfast waitstaff should be more service-oriented. The beach attendant that we could find was quite rude. English is sometimes an issue. The club food had flies all over the place. The bathroom tiles look horrible. The bathroom light is deep inside the bathroom so its a pain to go into it at night.

In the middle of town, and they have a lovely beach. The breakfast was great.
The rooms are dark og wet, the design is very old and tired. I simply can not find the 5 stars - maybe 3, no more. The water in shower, bathtub and toilet looked dirty and the room had a bad smell - if you have to do some printing from the hotels printer you must pay 45 bath per side if in colour - crazy and not costumer friendly. Never again.

The service at Centara was really good, especially during my business meetings. The staff efficiently provided assistance for setting up my presentation equipment and ensured that all my needs were met. The facilities were versatile and well-maintained, particularly the business center, equipped with high-speed internet and essential office supplies. The location was convenient for both work and leisure, with easy access to local restaurants and shops.

Centara is a good hotel for families with Children + it holds a very nice gym. It's spacious and inspite nearly fully booked, you don't find it crowded. Staff doing their outmost to service the guests.
We visited this hotel, when it was newly built, and now 4 years later we've seen a drop in quality. Especially in the restaurants and in general the interior and exterior seems a bit worn down. Moreover, we've noticed differences of the bed quality, interior etc. in same room category. ( We changed our room 3 times )...Hotel in our opinion 4 star, and does not live up to our previous 5 star experiences from other hotels in the same category.

proximity to the beach
Our bed was mouldy. The room was really musty and the bed actually stank of mould. Considering the money we paid, we didn't expect to have to slepp on top of the covers. Very disgusting. I would never go back

It is a very nice hotel, we had great time there, the staff is fantastic, it is clean, easy to access, the food is very good, the beach is beautiful.
The only thing that we would like to be improved is the natural light in the suites with pool

I loved the Club package we purchased providing food & drinks all day, free Internet service, free laundry service, daily fruit & newspaper. This was all included in the cost of our stay. The pool was beautiful & was huge & there were always enough lounges either beside the pool or on the beach.
There was a bit of a mix up with our check in. We had to wait for over an hour & then only one of our rooms was ready.

This resort suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, a saltwater pool, and 24-hour reception. I recall how the staff assisted with my luggage during my first stay. Don't miss the dip and sip bar! I'm coming back for a romantic escape.

Fantastic support from both staff & management when our in room pool pump broke down - we were offered a new room. Special thanks to Dudy & Christoph for total support looking after us, which made our 26th wedding anniversary even more special. Will definetly return only to this hotel especially due to great support, clean rooms & pristine beach

This hotel was chosen by our friend whom we were meeting for her birthday so we decided to stay in the same hotel. We were not disappointed. The location was good. Able to access shopping, partying as well as relaxation.
The mosquitos and flies in the rooms and breakfast areas. Better care could be taken to keep areas pest free. The Club Lounge should offer better access. There were only scheduled times for snacks and beverages which we found rather restrictive unless we stayed in the hotel the whole day.

A solid selection for a holiday in Chaweng with a good price-value balance. The morning yoga with Joe really set a great tone for the day. Consider trying the breakfast buffet early to avoid the rush.
